Access Violation every closing VB6.0 !

Can't find ADO provider!
if the target-machine runs under Win 95 the DCOM-package should be installed, before installing the mdac_typ.exe. The "Package & Depolyment Wizard" does not support that. You can find DCOM at : http://www.microsoft.com/com/dcom/dcom95/dcom1_3.asp heinz- baggyman

The locktype must set to adLockOptimistic, default is "adLockReadOnly" so try this before rsCmdty.open : rsCmdty.LockType = adLockOptimistic heinz- baggyman
