Downgrade Exchange 2000
Since you are running Exchange 2000, you are obviously in a Win2K domain. Is the other company still on NT or are they running on Win2K with Exchange 5.5?- Zigdrooler

New SBS server can't send email
Okay. So, before it crashed, that server was a NT PDC with Exchange 5.5 running on it. Then, after, you upgraded it to a Win2K DC and are running Exchange 2K on it. Correct? The server is the same name, IP address, DNS server, etc?- Zigdrooler

Reconnecting a Delete user
When you sselect reconnect, it should only let you connect to users who do not have a mailbox. Go into AD Users and Computers. Create a new account, but do not create a mailbox from it. Then, go into Exchange System Manager, and choose reconnect. It should only you to connect to that user...- Zigdrooler
