Thanks tad1952! The poster is going to plate. I have created the poster to it's finished size, but it took some time due to the size. I was trying to save some processing power. I will try the scaling idea next time.

If I wanted to design a poster, would I just create an A4 document, build it with page items, and send it to the printers for it to be printed at 22" x 30"? Or would I need to create the 22" document and then send to printers? High definition images (photos mainly) would be used...

I am trying to create a jigsaw piece, and then place a photo so that it fits that shape. Can anyone point me to any online resources that may help? My knowledge of Photoshop is fair to good. Illustrator is brand new to me. Software is Creative Suite Standard CS on WIN XP

Right click the image box, choose modify and change the box colour to none. (windows)
