I've tried fdisk/f/r and Norton utilities 2002 (which appears to do nothing more than fdisk), and still I'm not able to fix, or map and ignore, a bad block on my hard drive (pc machine). Is there any program or any way to fix this problem (without reformatting)?
How does one add to the list of email programs that can be used in IE5.5? It comes with Outlook Express and Hotmail. I want to add another to the list. I know it's a registry hack, but don't know the details. Surely, someone has done this, no?
Thanks,
Gregg KUljian
Howdy,
Yes! I looked at it and there are two general directories for the two mail programs, but at least half a dozen subdirectories. And I don't know what to do in order to get my webmail to run. I figured it was a registry thing. Thanks for your response, by the way. Any idea on what to do...
How can I add an email program to the list? I don't use the two defaults, and would like my webmail to be one of those in the list. I'm using w2k pro.

Hi Dmasch,
Here's what I want- When I'm on a website and I click the mailto link, I want my webmail to pop up, not outlook express and not hotmail (the two defaults that come with the os). I know there's a way to ad mail programs to the list, I just don't know how to add them. And I think MS has...
I want to add something other than the two that are already there. I want to use my webmail. Not outlook or hotmail, the two defaults. Thanks for your reply also.
Gregg
There's got to be a way to change the default email program. I want something other than the two that come with the program. I looked for months now, and just plain give up!
Thanks for any help,
Gregg
When booting up, I get the bsod about 50% of the time. After booting my machine with my shoe, I decided it was time to ask for help. Event viewer shows this (of many) message-
Invalid default gateway address 10.72 was specified for adapter BICNDIS3\Parameters\TCPIP. Some remote networks may not...
In a website, is the transparent.gif file only placed in the root directory? I've run some webpage testers and they say they can't find transparent.gifs on my other pages in the site.
When I view my webpages in a browser with the text size set at largest, some of my graphics and text overlap...
OK I'm a rookie. I've inserted my image and when I do a preview in browser, all that shows is a blank box with a red x. Pardon my stupidity, but what did I do wrong?
Once an image is inserted on a page, is there a way to move it to a different position on the page? Maybe this is a stupid question, but I don't see any way to move my image around. It looks like the answer is to put it in the right place the first time.
