If we have a door entry unit attached to an analogue extension port on an ELUA card.
If it is in use and the door calls and is answered by a digital extension, say a Dialog 4223...This user then

Question is - will it work?
Does the digital extension...

Is it possible to set incoming calls in night service to go direct to a mailbox to play a message like " the office is now closed... please leave a message"

When a subsciber collects a voice mail message - By default it will tell him the time it arrived and the callers extension number(if internal).
I believe this can also provide the date the message was left as well as the time.
Where can I change this setting?
Thanks.
Question is - Will a Dialog 4225(DBC 225 02/01001 R2A) work on a BP50/250
using CPUD4.
Or is it only the 4222/4223/3213 etc that can be used correctly?
Upgraded to Ver5.1 and it did not clear the fault. Still froze.I had to fit a temporary Panasonic KXTD for he customer, because it is effecting the business.
Have just fitted a replacement CPU today, (upgraded this to 5.1 also) and see how that goes. If it stays up for 24 hours I can assume...
Yes, Hope to upgrade early next week. I will recheck the ME 50 card too.
One thing that puzzles me..... On the front of the CPU there are 5 LED's
1 = Green Flash =ok
2 = Steady Red
3-5 = Off
This 2nd LED comes on straight away, as soon as it boots up under normal working conditions.
Have just installed a Ver 4 SV8100 with ME50 Card/InMail/PRI Card/2 x 16Port Digital EXT Cards.

This is a KXTD1232 ver5 with a TVP200 attached and set up as DPitts.
For example - EXT 201 If I set c/fwd B/NA to 265 and ring the DDI number pointed to 201 in Day service, or night service the call is correctly answered by the TVP200- leave a message ok etc.
Then if I try this DDI No several...
Is it possible to change the ringing cadence on an old KXTD816 ver3 ............ie. make external calls = double ring and make internal calls = single ring.
This is the way all UK settings are by default.
Thanks
Well, I am unlucky here in England the KXTD does not support lunch break modes. Only basic day and night switching either manual or auto.
Customer will have to upgrade to KXTDA, unless I have the time to devise a way to do it via auto dialer.
Thanks fellas
I am pretty sure lunch/break is not available on this version.
Prog 102 only refers to day/night Sun-Sat. Also, DDI table in 151/152 are only for Day/Night.
Will double check this.
A customer has a KXTD1232 Ver 5.
I want to set up auto changeover to night service at lunch time for 1 hour, then back to day service until 5 pm.
The KXTD is not as flexible as the new KXTDA for this feature. Has anyone ever set up a type of auto dialer - dialing 780/781 to simulate this...
