not that i'm experienced (cause i'm NOT), i created a cgi_bin (i had deleted it previously) and moved everything back into it that belonged there, and it didn't help. does this need to be in an "official" cgi_bin on the server? or am i missing something else?

i am trying to execute a perl script, but it's not running. it gives me this address: http://www.idahoweb.com/weiser_action/ but it won't RUN. (it is yabb.pl) this site runs off of verio, so i know it will accept perl, but i'm not sure of where i'm going wrong. any ideas? thanks!

hi. i'm LOST!!!! i assume i have to download Perl in order to get this script to work on our website. i've tried to download it, but i don't have a compiler, and i can't seem to find one that doesn't need a compiler. i'm quite a novice at this (obviously!). how do i get this to work?
