If You are replace the bad 408 GS/LS-MLX with another 408 GS/LS-MLX in the exact same slot, You will be okay like Dexman said. Indeed power down from left to right, and power up from right to left.

The License 339096, is an Essential Edition License for R9.1, not an upgrade to R9.1
If You have an older kit on R7, and upgrade to R8, you get a free Virtual Essential edition license, that will even work on R8.1, and I believe R9.
The Virtual Essential edition license becomes invalid with R9.1...
Thanks for giving it a shot holdmusic.
Anyone else have access to ADI? I suspect there is an upgrade & essential license on it.
License lady out sick Today, Sales manager in meeting.
Thanks, Andre
Hi All,
Can someone verify license 1309972772?
I need to know if there any other licenses on it besides IP500 Voice Net channels, and 3 * Avaya IP endpoints on it.
Thanks, Andre
Hello All,
Can someone help a technician out, and verify a license for Me? SD card FK #1338378191
I just need to know if there any other licenses besides 267786 Essential edition.

Kyle is correct, 9620/30/40/50 have custom faceplates available, it has been a while, but I have installed several white, and some red 96xx phones.
If there on an older IP office 44xx, and 64xx digital phones came in white.

I have never seen just the keyed RJ45 ends for sale, but I am also interested if anyone know were they can be bought.
You can get a free cable when You buy another sidecar, as Avaya includes them. There is no part number for just the cable, as Avaya doesn't sell it by itself!
Cables are hard to...
You will need an upgrade license if you upgrade the 406v2 to R6 or R6.1. Your VCM 8 card will give you 24 virtual Avaya endpoints. If your connecting more than 24 phones, you will need additional endpoint license.
R5 is also popular with budget Home based/starter business running 406v2, and R5...
After R6 all You need is a IP endpoint license, I believe VPN license went EOS.
There probably some VPN license floating out there if you are still on R4/R5
Andy & gwebster are correct, That Avaya Bluetooth adaptor ( 700383789 ) only works with 9620, 9620C, 9621G, 9630, 9630G, 9640, 9640G, 9650, and 9650C
They do need the wedge stand, but the module only physically fits the first series 96xx Phones.
I have only installed about 3 of them in the...
The 96xx series have very good speaker phone sound quality.
The 4620/21 weren't bad eithe.
The 16xx series do not, they are not as clear, nor as loud.

If a caller tries to make a call, and all license/Pri channels are all ready consumed, User will hear beep-beep-beep, on their phone, and "waiting for line" will be displayed. Once a license/channel is cleared, the call will go through.

I've seen many issues with Comcast and their analog lines via arris cable modem.
Another issue I had with Comcast, is multiple IPOs on SCN, getting knocked off intermittently.
Use your butt set directly on the analog lines on Comcast box, see if You replicate the intermittent one way audio...
Peter,
Your IP Office must have a VCM Module. If You have 406v2/412 You will have full access to all VCM channels installed. If you have 500v1 You get the first 4 VCM channels for free on a VCM 32/64. You would need VCM license for additional VCM channels.
Additionally you will need a SIP...
Hawks, There is a good chance it will work. I was at a site that had 9640s with the IP Phone Bluetooth Adapter.
Setup was painless. I believe they had Plantronics Bluetooth sets.
On the phones "Avaya" menu button hit "options & settings", then "advanced settings", and then "Bluetooth"
Once...
Indeed a 9608 as SIP Phone works on IPO, but as a basic phone, and needs 3rd party IP endpoint license.
Keep the 9608 as H323 on IPO, and You will only need VPN appliance on the IPO side.
"He want to be able to plug and go." If it were this easy, I, and many of Us here wouldn't have a job. Just...
If it's a 500v2 You will need an essential edition license.
If it's an early R8 system, they probably have an virtual essential license which is tied to the chassis. When the chassis fails, you will need to by an essential edition license.
Bottom line, if they do not have an essential edition...
