I/O Device Error (CD-RW Problem)
The bios does recognize it. So does explorer. They do have firmware updates but I don't think any of them are for windows 2000 and they say the burner supports w2k. I'm going to try the firmware and hopefully it works. Thanks for the help.- inferiae

I/O Device Error (CD-RW Problem)
Alright, I'll start with my specs. ECS Motherboard (forget the exact specs) p4 1.7 433 mhz fsb windows 2000 pro. Alright, here's the problem I am having. I just got a new cd-rw (optorite 16X) and I can get the bios to recognize it, my computer sees it but it does not show up in the device...- inferiae
