have had same problem before, ended up being that the floppy drive was screwed...try replacing if you can with another one, other then that it could be a conflict with some other hardware, i will usually try taking all unnessesary hardware out then adding 1 piece at a time to see if the prob...

unfortunately there was no manual included in the hardware i purchased, and the online manuals for each motherboard gave no direction too mounting :( anyway least i got er all figured out...thx again :)

ok heres the deal i pulled the mobo back out and used the plastic type mounting screws and cleared the cmos then added 1 item at a time and she worked gr8...my theory is that i turned the metal screws to hard and shorted the board out. Now as for the second puter that i built, what i did was...

already tryed taking mobo back out with no success...if i had an extra fan i would try that but i dont :( lol thx for help i will keep pluggin away...1 out of 2 systems aint bad :)

ok thx for all the help on the previous posts i made about no power on new computer...i got the one working perfectly, then i worked on the next 1, i got the Fan to go then screwed MOBO down and connected a few items, now when i start it the fan looks like it moves ever so slightly then...

also i am building 2 new computers and both are doing same thing...its obvoiusly something i am doing wrong but this 1 has me stumped...1 more ? for ya, if i had the switch wires on wrong on the first computer when i started it up can this cause any damnage to the MB ? i had the wrong at first...

nope processor fan does not even spin...i tryed disconnecting everything except for the processor which came built in...even with the switch wires disconnected should the unit not still power up in some way ?

i am building a couple computers and i have done everything by the book, but when i go to boot em up there is nothing no beeps nothing only hting i noticed was the keyboard lights flash off and on...i checked ram from a running computer using same motherboard...i am hopeing someone can point me...
