I found suddenly that on a number of workstations I was extremely low on hard drive space. Since everything is saved on the server it didn't make sense. This post directed me to the virusdefs folder which had almost 700 .tmp files holding almost 9 gigs. I had some workstations down to...
I had the same issues on a WinXP Pro tablet PC. Did all the things mentioned here and in other posts. Finally downloaded SP2 and that resolved the issue.

Finally opened a Microsoft ticket. They e-mailed a tool to re-install the SMTP service. Apparently an e-mail had corrupted both the mailroot and the smtp service (at least that is Microsoft's best guess). We are continuing to monitor for 24 -36 hours to ensure the smtp service continues to...
I have to correct my answer. This did not resolve the issue. When I went to the remote location I found that the user was logging in to her workstation locally; however, was able to browse the domain and have Outlook properly deliver e-mails. After completing wiping out the computer's...
Actually port 25 - however, it appears that something was blocking the queues. We went in and started deleting e-mails that appeared to be from postmaster at our domain and forced out all other e-mails. At some point in time we muset have deleted an e-mail or forced something out that was...

Okay - I have the answer. Go to Control Panel, to users, and add a user called "Domain User" to the domain. Give this user Administrative rights and finish. Now, users are able to login in to the domain successfully over the vpn.
This was not the answer I came up with I got it from...
JPonadl: Nothing in the event viewer log on the server. NSlookup was also utilized and still nothing showed up. A new Win 2k pro machine was taken to the site and was able to join the domain and logon with no issues as any user on the network. The trouble seems to be with the two win 2k pro...
I have a Win 2K Server with VPN tunnels to two offices. One office was added just recently. The Administrator for the domain can login to the server over the VPN but users cannot login. Error Message - the domain server is not available at this time. These are Win 2K pro work stations...
I had the same trouble. I had to call support for Verizon and basically I had to do what they call "violate" the Blackberry. I had to give it a password and then continue to re-enter the password incorrectly (10 or 12 times, I think) then you finally get a message that says it will totally...
And now, the rest of the story - turns out the user failed to log off his computer during a recent update involving the sqlserver. At the time that the server was rebooting in order to update the files he was attempting to send an e-mail. Everyone else, of course, was logged out of the system...

No security settings or distribution lists - either at the server level or user level. I also checked the delegates section and there are no delegates there.
This calendar is in a public folder on the exchange server, if that helps any.
Thanks

Could you be a little more specific? I looked at the global address settings and didn't see anything about meeting requests. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.
I appreciate your taking the time to help.

Yes. The meeting requests, even though directed to specific users, are also going to the global address for the entire office. There are other global address lists but it is not choosing any of those.
Exchange 2000 and Outlook 2002.
Thanks for your insight.
We want to advise people by e-mail of our new firm name, address, etc. by attaching a vcard to our e-mail; however, I cannot figure out where in exchange to set this globally so that it will populate to all users. I have checked in outlook and exchange. Has anyone does this before. Surely...
