ok. thanks. i'm running down another question about admin shares and have seemed to narrow it down to local admin permissions on the client attempting to access the admin share... maybe... so i thought i'd put in my cent (not really worth 2 i don't think ;-))

i think you make the rpc registry changes to the client machine...

if the other domain is not trusted by the domain which includes the exchange server those users (in the non-exchange domain) will always be asked for their username/password/domain. there is a registry hack on microsoft's site about this but it didn't work when i tried it. but i didn't care...

1) i would definately check out whether you have the system set to not automatically reboot. this will keep it from rebooting if it is software related. ie- if it is a bug it will bluescreen and give the stop code you need to fix the problem. 2) i agree with andrew. especially if it still...
