My question is this: Does Data Junction effectively convert MS Access tables to oracle in the same manner as Oracle Migration Workbench? I keep getting the error code
ora-00942 when I try to load an oracle table onto my pocket pc that has been converted from ms access with data junction. I'm...
I just found out that my I.S. Dept doesn't use oracle migration workbench. They use some other program whose name escapes me at this time, to convert from access to oracle. Do you think this could be the problem?
Thanks
Tony
All the fields are appropriately labeled for use in oracle (no strange charachters, spaces, etc) All fields are in caps as well. Any other suggestions??
Thanks
Tony
I converted an access table to oracle. Now when I try to sync it up with activesyncs odbc drivers i get the
ora-00942 error. The schema is correct, the table exists and is spelled correctly and I have the rights I need. What am I missing here? Anythoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony
I know that both have odbc. My question is: do I need to download and install drivers to do this conversion? Or are the drivers already installed via access and oracle.
Thanks,
Tony
Thanks for your ideas. I found some problems associated with the code I wrote on the pocket pc database. This is my first time working the pocket pc's and I'm the only guy working on this project in my department, so I've come across many snag's. I really appreciate your response/help.

I keep getting this error message when I attempt to sync my pocket pc database back to access. If anyone knows how to fix this I'd greatly appreciate it. I've been pulling my hair out just to get this far, arrrgghhh!!
Thanks,
Tony
I'm not a tech guy but an unfinished project has been dropped on me. urggh. My question is how do you install adoce 3.1 onto the pocket pc. I will be using this pocket pc to do database work with access. I'm using a compag 3700 series. Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
