On my full Acc97 version on Win XP Pro, all graphs work no problem. On runtime version, they won't show up. Some other Acc97 files with graphs will be ok on the same runtime. It does not seem to be a problem of references.
I experimented this problem with Win98/ME when there is OFF2K. My...
For a while, I have been struggling with the fact that Notes send my e-mail without the user having the possibility of edit it.
How do I get it to pause?
In a second possibilitym can I just store the e-mail in a draft folder, waiting for the user to trigger the send function?
In Frontpage XP, I have a page (default.htm) divided in three frames std
(top, left, right)
My problem is when trying using the banner. In my left frame are my
hyperlinks. I would like to change the text in the banner (located in top
frame) when clicking on hyperlinks of the left frame.
I...
I have a date/time to have the following format;
02-11-01 07:29
Format is
yy-mm-dd hh:ss -it works
I set the input mask of my field to
9999-99-99\ 99:99;0;
However I'd like to avoid entering the two first digits of 2002 each time. I would like to enter data as the format.
Modifying...
In a runtime version of Access, I want the administrator to be able to modify users and groups registration for each users, but NOT groups definition.
Standard form used by Access combines both groups and users definition so can't lock groups.
Any strategy to overcome this? I guess in VBA.
... by including them in the installations files or do you have to add them
to the "Add registry value" screen of the setup wizard?
Also, in the references, when do you have to include the MS DAO 2.5/3.5
Compatibility and when do you include only MS DAO 3.51. If it works fine
with...
This is good for datasheet, but I was hoping for something for one record in a column-type layout like a form. Not possible?
The other application was to see how a html template for genericdb www.genericdb.com in edit or view mode would look like. Different beast I assume.
I have two fields id and desc
How should the fields be referenced in the htm code? I have tried many format included <%variable%> ... doesn't work.
<html>
<table>
<tr>Id</th> <th>Desc</th>
<tr valign="top">
<td><%id%></td>
<td><%desc%></td>
</tr>
</table>
</html>
TIF format is largely used by recent Windows. I'd like to use it instead of PDF and Snapshot.
How can I automate the process of writing to a TIF file (with a customized name) and then picking the file and attach it to an e-mail?
Thanks.
Did lose time with Frontpage Server Extension. Would I have known what I know now, I would have learned ASP directly!
I still use FP which is very good for general use.
I did upgrade to ACC2K because I had no choice (corporate decision). ACC97 was just fine. I feel it is slower. And sometimes, code will hang and you can't do anything.
When I'll get enough of MS stupid decisions, I'll move to ASP for the applications on the intranet. And ASP won't generate...
This should be more simple!
Can anybody post an example that I could adapt. I have tried many ways (me.requery, me.refresh, name it) but it just doesn't work.
I don't want to open the form at each time.
Thank in advance.
I have one Access db coming from Win NT environment. Now used in Win 98. I want to use it in my web, but Frontpage refuses to connect to it. I have repaired it, imported all tables in a new db. Nothing helps. I don't have this trouble with dbs not coming from Win NT. I suspect sort of...
I guess it is not an universal solution... but possibly FrontPage might be the answer. I have learnt coding within Access and it really does a good job (more for ACC97 than ACC2000).
I just took the FP route lately and I am very pleased with it. There are limitations like user level...
I have been using MS ACC2000 databases results without any problem as long as I put them in the fpdb directory.
I have one database that I am not able to connect. I did repair it, I even imported all tables in a new database, I always get the following message as below. Why? With other...
