CDROM DVDRW found in BIOS but Not found in WinXP or Win Install
I've since reset the BIOS and now the motherboard no longer can see the CDROM or DVDRW. I've changed out my rounded cables for the stock IDE and still not working. Everytime I shutdown windows correctly when I boot up next it always give me the windows send error window even though I power down...- TribalUser

CDROM DVDRW found in BIOS but Not found in WinXP or Win Install
Basically I was benchmarking this system and now now CD-ROM type hardware can be found by Windows or the Windows XP Pro OEM instal disk. I though Sissoft Sandra might have caused it but I'm not sure. I tried to install XP again using my XP install disks but it can't find a CDROM. I Set the BIOS...- TribalUser
