    ERD error message!

    Check in Winnt\repair directory and see if the total size of the files in there exceed the capacity of a floppy ( 1.4Mb ). I think you will find that the software file is quite large. Try moving this file from the directory temporarily then create the ERD.

    uninstalling redhat

    I think I had the same problem you are experiencing, I removed the Linux partition with fdisk but found that I still got the LI part of LILO when I rebooted. All you need to do is use fdisk /mbr and that will rewrite the master boot record.

    Can anyone advise on the correct way to remove ( uninstall )Linux. I tried just removing the partition using fdisk but that left part of the Linux bootup on the HD. When I tried to boot up after re sys'ing the drive it hung with the caption LI which is half of the normal Linux boot message of LILO.
