    Run-on Heading in Word 2010

I should clarify I know how to do the style separator trick (CTL-ALT-ENTER on the heading), but I want something that automatically formats as I am working a large document.

    Run-on Heading in Word 2010

I am trying to create run-on headings in Word 2010 starting with Heading 3 and all lesser headings. The format would be something like.: 5.3.1. Heading3 Title. This is the body text I've got everything set up through the style menu except the ability to have the body text on the same line...

Backup Utility - Exclude Files by Attribute?

Thanks kjv1611 - SyncBackPro is exactly what I was asked for. I didn't inquire about networking in my original post, but this program would be perfect if it allowed a central network installation that pushed installations to client machines.

Backup Utility - Exclude Files by Attribute?

Is it possible to configure the Windows XP backup utility to back up a folder, but exclude all files within that folder that are read-only? I know how to exclude a subdirectory, but does the backup utility allow exclusion on a file-level basis? Thanks!

User Dialog with JavaScript outside of IE

Hi everyone, I am by no means a Javascript expert, I have software programming experience, but Javascript has never been a tool I've really sat down to try and learn...until now. I have a program in Windows I am using that is suppose to support basic Javascript commands. However, this program...

    Premier Elements capture question

Your 9600 series All in Wonder card has composite video and audio inputs - which makes me believe the software that came with that card will allow you to capture your VCR video via those connections. You can then import the saved video into Premiere. I use a Pinnacle Systems capture device...

    Video Capture Freezes

Hi Dianne, What you're describing may be similar to a problem I had when using Premiere 6.5 with the Logitech Video Cam. I now use PremierePro (and still have the Logitech Cam) and the problem went away, but perhaps this suggestion will help. In Device Manager, I disabled the Logitech Video...

Still Having Problems With Final DVD Playback

Ah - I see where the misunderstanding originated. You always have sound advice - as good as anything I can usually offer - thus my confusion.

Still Having Problems With Final DVD Playback

Akribie, Not sure what you mean by not having DVD+R/-R changeable under software control. For example, from my experiences dealing with customers, if the DVD+R does not work, I can simply use it to copy to a DVD-R (or vice-versa). I do not have to go back to original burning software to...

Still Having Problems With Final DVD Playback

What is the format of the DVDs you burn (+R, -R, +RW, -RW)? I have found in my dealings with customers that -R is generally more universally accepted, however there are times that a customer requires +R media. I stay away from the rewrite DVDs. In these cases, you can simply use your DVD copy...

Performance Logs and Alerts Won't Run

I'm at my wits end - for some reason our Small Business Server 2003 will not post Performance or Usage Reports when accessed through the Monitoring and Reporting under Server Management. I get a 'Loading...." page that never ends. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Performance twice - to no...

    Problems With Final DVD

Your issue may be the media itself, as Akribie suggests. Assuming you are not recording on rewrites, there are two major standards for recordable single layer DVDs. One is DVD-R, the other DVD+R. I believe DVD-R has been around longer and is more universal on console DVD players. However...

    OWA when website is redirected

Thanks Mark, I tried the response.redirect code, but had trouble getting it to work. Instead went with <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="3; url=http://www.maincompanywebsite.com"> I do appreciate the response though - it confirmed my suspicions that the easiest way to salvage OWA was to...

    OWA when website is redirected

Our office has had its own website, separate from the main company's website, for a number of years. Per direction from headquarters, we have been told to shut down our website and redirect to the main company page immediately. Problem is, when I set up the server to redirect, it affected our...

    Audio Not Sync with Video

Need some more info. What version of Premiere are you using? What is the format of the clip you are editing? AVI, MPG? If it's compressed format like MPG - that is likely the source of your issues.

How to text a movie in Adobe Premiere!

    File -> New -> Title
  18. LRSmith

WMP loves it, Premiere hates it. Can this be resolved?

You didn't specify the format of the clip you are trying to play. If it's compressed video (e.g., mpg), then all version of Premiere will have trouble with playback because it must interpolate the compression.

    Audio issue, Premiere 6.5

What format were the files captured? If they're MPG, that's your problem. Try capturing to AVI.

Suggested Export Movie Settings for DVD playback?

What version of Premiere are you using? DVD players don't play AVI files, they must be MPG-2. So what encoder are you using to convert AVIs to MPG? Premiere has 16:9 output. If you have harddrive space for it, I'd suggest exporting as uncompressed AVI (no video codecs) and then use third...
