Monitor, on its last legs?
More than likely you've already tried this but here goes: Wiggle the wire and both the monitor end and the video card end while you watch the screen and see if the colors come and go...if that's the case then it's more than likely a damages wire somewhere in the cord.- rage12345

"ripple effect" on my monitor at higher resolutions
I'm trying that right now and have a fan screwed to the top of the monitor. What I had said earlier about the fan producing interference isn't totally true...it seems to produce interference only when the monitor is hot to start with (I had placed thefan on after the monitor was already hot it...- rage12345

ATI Radeon 7000 win2k pro issues
