    What's the best way to get a VMS system communicating with a Microsoft SQL server. I want to be able to gather the results of a stored procedure. What's the easiest way - can I use an RPC call, or are they incompatible?

    Can anyone tell me a way to find out the size of an image field in MSSQL2000? In a database I have a handful of rows out of thousands which are incorrect. the only way I have to find these rows is to get the size of the image field, the ones with a ridiculous size are the ones in error Thanks

    Thanks for the reply. I found the solution. I'd run the C2 configuration tool to lock down the registry. Quite why the device showed off-line then i don;t know. However i set the reg permissions to Everyone on the HKLM\Software\computerassociates key. this seemed to sort it out after...

    I am running ArcServe 2000, using a Dell Powervault 120T tape. Arcserve has reported that the Autoloader is offline, but the drive is OK. I have checked with the dell utils for the tapedrive and all reports OK. Nothing has changed on the machine recently Has anyone any ideas?
