Cisco 1721 Private WAN Config - no packets routing

Cisco 1721 Private WAN Config - no packets routing

not quite true jimmy, when you input the command ping 10.237.1.3 from the router, the router will use iots own interface on that subnet as the source. When you do an extended ping, you can choose which interface to select as the source. You do this exactly how you said but use the ethernet...

nonprophet, first thing to notice is your ip address on both serial int is the same. This will never work. They need to be on the same subnet, but different addresses. Cisco 1721 Private WAN Config - no packets routing

    Does IOS Firewall block TFTP?

Never use config maker. It is rubbish. Small services do not include tftp. Echo discard are small services. You do not want to close anything on the inside. All traffic coming on from the outside world should have an inspect statement. Go to this addresss it's excellent...

    Trunks Dropping

Hi Will, Have you created class maps and policy maps? When using frame for VOIP it is best to configure a sub interface using ppp. Then create a virtual template interface with the ip address. Do not bind ip addresses to the frame or sub frame interface. If you give me your email address I can...

Cisco 3660/PIX placement, where in my network?

Your router should be on the outside. With the PIX on the inside. I presume the router is connected to the internet. Connect the internet line to the router and the ethernet int of the router to the pix. The pix will handle all nat and forwarding. Hope this helps. Cheers,
