I haven't found any problems with bridging on the D-Link APs. In my application I needed a directional antenna that boosted the distance I could run. I did end up putting a 3rd AP on a pole at 150' which made connection alot faster. I was bridging about 300' between buildings.

No encryption is a bad idea.
For the other issue, connect your AP to the DMZ then create a rule on the firewall to disalow any traffic from the IP range on your AP into your network. This will give guests access to only the internet.

How is the network layed out? Are all of these machines in question connected to the same switch? If so you may have a bad port or switch. Also try punching down the connections at the port and patch panel.

I had the same problem and no one could help. I finally changed everything and the problem stopped when I replaced the RAM stick. I and the dealer literally replaced everything but the RAM.
I learned the hard way, be thurough.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to view printers through HP Jet Admin across switches and routers? I can view specific printers using an IP address but want to view all of my printers. The documentation and the HP Website are not very helpful
