Just so you know, I tried what you said.
I created the ellipse in 3D, extruded it and changed to a southwest isometric viewport.
I then exploded it and was left with a REGION, so I exploded again and got the iso-ellipse that I wanted.
Thankyou,
Scott
I've just tried your suggestion and it seems that LT doesn't have the SOLPROF command.
I'll try installing the LT-Extender program and see if that works.
Many thanks Flores,
Scott
Thanks Flores,
The thing is, Isocircle draws an ellipse that represents a 2D circle.
My problem is my 2D plan view shows an ellipse, and I don't know how to develop that onto an Isometric.
Thankyou,
Scott
Hi,
I have a drawing and there is an ellipse on the plan view.
I want to show that ellipse on an isometric view. Drawing an Isocircle does not do it.
Perhaps it has to be done in 3D?
I'm using LT2002.
Many thanks,
Scott
Hi,
I doubt that this is possible but I would like to use Content Explorer from LT98 on LT2002, instead of Design Center.
I simply want to be able to double click on a block to insert instead of click and drag.
Even after all this time I still double click!
Also, can Design Center be opened in...
Has anyone ever come across this within LT2002 when trying to print:
'The Data Area Passed To A System Call Is Too Small'
It appears in a pop-up window when I click ok within the print box.
Re-starting CAD has no effect.
Thanks,
Scott
Can anyone help me to make a linetype that looks like this:
_____________
/ / / /
It's for use as a rising main pipeline.
The best linetype I have managed to make is to use a slash (/) and offset it from the line, but it doesn't rotate.
Is it possible to draw a line off from the...
Hi,
I am receiving drawings from a client and some of the multi-line text lists the following:
Contents: {\fProxy 1|b0|i0|c0|p39;
It causes the font to change to what appears to be TXT.SHX, and it doesn't print very well.
I can explode the text to single-line text and then it works, it's just...

Have you tried Voloview Express?
To quote the help file:
"Volo View Express is a free subset of Volo View that lets you open, view, and print AutoCAD drawings."
Our express version also has the mark-up ootion.

How odd.
Updating the MNU restored the shortcuts, but then I started removing and adding toolbar buttons to just leave the ones I use, and it's happened again. No CTRL shortcuts.
I will keep trying.
Cheers BU!
I updated the MNU to be CONTROL+TOOLBAR instead of TOOLBAR+CONTROL, then recompiled the menus. Bingo!
Don't know how the menu got the text swapped round but never mind, it all works now.
Thanks again.
Scott
Thanks BU, however, this is an extract of the MNU file:
// Keyboard Accelerators
***ACCELERATORS
ID_Copyclip [TOOLBAR+CONTROL+"C"]
This suggests to me that it is already set up. Or am I in the wrong section of the MNU?
Ta.

Can anyone help with this one please.
In LT2002 the shortcut keys CTRL+1 no longer works to pop-up the properties window.
Also, CRTL C now cancels, instead of copying to clipboard.
I have chosen Windows Standard Accelerator Keys in Config, but it doesn't have any effect.
Thanks.
Scott
Thanks for the reply Carl,
I am running 2002LT (should have mentioned it before) so I cannot run a LISP routine.
Most of the objects do have differing Z values, so I have been using DDMODIFY on them.
I have just tried the MOVE 0,0,1e99 thing and it works a treat!
Thankyou.

Hi,
I'm using LT 2002 on Windows NT.
When I insert blocks from DesignCenter I find that it lets me insert about half a dozen times, then I get "Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x1368286 Exception at 36020c74h", followed by a save recovery drg and CAD exits.
Anyone know why?
Thanks.
