    dd based cock-up how do I fix pls HELP!!!!!!!

    I have two drives in my machine, hda, and sda. the hda is the windows partition and sda linux. I'v mistakenly types in dd if=boot.fs of=/dev/hda1 as opposed to /dev/fd0. Now linux cannot read that drive. MSDOS fdisk just says unkown partition. HOw to I fix. PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs.

    Program running 16-bit, but its 32 bit

    I made a backup of a CD, however the programs on that backup CD think that they are msdos 16 bit apps. Of course they are 32bit, but when they are run i get the usual NTVDM error dialogue. How do I change the properties of those programs back to 32bit. thanks
