    Hi, I have the same problem with a server. Had it a year or so ago & I had found a little program that allowed you to delete these types of files (with illegal characters & such) now I am going crazy looking for it again. It is out there somewhere....

    Terminal services on W2K without AD Help me!!

    Go to start, settings, task bar & start menu. Click on the advanced tab. The 3rd check box down is display log off. Once you do this, right above shut down you have a log off "user" button. Instruct your users to use this. Had to drive to clients before & turn the server back on...

    Hi, I had a very similar experiance with a client. Had to do with the PERC controller card on the Dell server. Look to see if Veritas is writing checksums to the tape - uncheck if it is. Good Luck, Bob
