    Modem dials-up but disconnects almost immediately

    I am having almost the same problem with a US Robotics OEM modem and win xp. I have yet to find a solution myself. The driver for my modem is supposed to be automatic with win xp, but it connects at about 1.2kbps and then disconnects.

    You can get from www.powerquest.com. If thats not right its made by powerquest. You should be able to find a trial version. If you have Kazza you can download a full free version.

    I have always used "drive image pro" it copys everthing even settings. I have never used robocopy.

    I am getting this error message when booting. "Logon.ser-invalid directory. The program cannot switch to the start up current directory G:\ Select ok to set current directory to C:\winnt or cancel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
