Hi wolluf, thanks for your response, and yes it was as as additional drive on the other machine, and I hate to say it but also think that the drive is trashed. Anyone think otherwise?- himinatech

Blue Screen ntkernel.exe hard drive failure Win2k??
My PC crashed and will not enter recovery console. It starts booting, recognises the disk, but blue screens during the "starting w2k - color screen etc" with message.....ntkernel.exe error. I boot from the CD and try go into recovery console but can't get near the option screen and the...- himinatech
