from outside a firewall, can you ping a PC with a public IP address that translates to an internal? I have a static private address setup on the PC. I confirmed it's working on the network. I have the public IP address setup on the firewall to do address translation.

Yes the file has a .doc extension. I did a save as, same thing. I also checked the properties to make sure the "read only" was not checked. and confirmed the file name had the .doc extension

I tried to add the area code. with the command ch ars ana 862. since it was not in there it brought me to the next in sequence which was 865. I started to type and it typed over it. how do I insert it?

Thanks everybody! I moved the computer from one department to another. IN the process I had removed the printer driver. I didn't install another. I just installed another printer driver for a printer near by. Now everything is working and printing correctly. Thanks again, MSTechy

Everytime I type something in Word 97 and change the font to either Bold or Italics the font changes to garbage. I ran AV using yesterdays definition file. I removed and reinstalled Office and the same thing happens. Anybody ever see this? How do I fix this?

A new area code (862) has hit our area. We can not call anyone in that area code from our Lucent Definity switch. I beleive it is a G3. We are working on a terminal (command Line) not like our other sites that have DSA. How do I add the area code to the switch so we can make the calls?
