CLARIFICATION...I was hopeing to have the image popup from a mouseover on an html table (for the main menu items)...is this possible or does this main menu have to be an image too?

I am having the strangest problems with basic text entry in asp forms. I am returning a record set to update data using a form. If I click on the text box, the cursor is often in the middle of the box and if I type, it's like my keyboard doesn't work. If I highlight the whole field, I can enter...
Oh...I know the correct value is being captured from the record set, but it's the conditional statements are just being ignored so that the drop down rendered in html does not have a "selected" value.
