The problem is occuring on an s8700 CM 2.1
We have several switches on site; 2 s8700s and an s8300,
i have managed to get an IP Trunk working between an s8300 with CM 2.1 connecting to the s8700 cm 2.1
butI can't get the 2 s8700s to connect...

I have set up an IP trunk between two s8700s and the trunk is in service idle and the sig group is in service but when I try to place a call I get engaged tone. Can anyone help
I've been given a new 2410 phone to trial, i'm currently using a 6424D+M and when i went to change the station type to 2410 it says invalid entry.
Does anyone know if you have to be on a certain level of software to use this phone ? 2420s work ok

You can do an import on ASA.
Go to the advanced tab and import data. Name your import (it will be saved in the tree to go back to at a later date) Select the object in this case stations and select the
change command.
When you ok that a new import screen will appear (similar to excel) enter...
I have been told that Avaya need to dial in on some of our
systems to enable DCS. Can anyone provide info about what DCS is and the benefits / Features / risks this involves.
