Thanks Berton. Looks like a good place. However, BEFORE I buy an update, I sure would like to know if the update will enable a LARGER RAM memory. That is NOT listed as a benefit at http://www.unicore.com/biosupgrades/why.cfm
My 2-year-old computer will not accept 512mb SDRAM DIMMs. SDRAM is not the problem. Rather, it is the size. Max acceptable DIMM size is 128mb. QUESTION: Is this memory limitation imposed by the Phoenix BIOS, or the 440BX chipset, or something else on the motherboard?
