    Slow Backup (Storageworks vs80)

    I have a IBM x345 running BE 9.1 with an Adaptec SCSI card attached to a HP Storage Works vs80. The theoretical speed of the drive is 360MB/min. If I am lucky I am getting about 180.     Duplicate Name exists on the network?

    Wins is not running....DNS/AD is. This is a new NIC. I think the server is reporting itself as being the duplicate name. Could this be?

    Duplicate Name exists on the network?

    I have a W2K server and I am trying to change the NIC. When the new NIC is placed in the server and configured, I get "Duplicate Name Exists On The Network" during boot. The server's name hasn't changed, only the NIC. (The IP is the same as well.) Any ideas? TIA

    IBM X330, EXP300 and ServeRaid 4lx

    I have recently installed a EXP300 via ServeRaid 4-lx on a IBM X330. For all intense and purpose, it is funcitoning, however, the throughtput is doggedly slow. After some research, it looks like it is a known issue but haven't found any tips or tricks to make improvements. TIA Chris

    I am getting several backup failing due to a00084f9 HEX errors. The reason and help from Veritas is untrue and horrid to say the least. They chalk it up to NIC teaming...well..I am not teaming the NIC's. Anyone else having these issues?
