If you don't need the both partitions, I would use a program like partition magic to merge the two and if possible use fat32. Also, I would try to boot w/ a win98 disk and use fdisk that came w/ 98 to do "fdisk /mbr". The reason the fat32 partition might not be seen is b/c you used...
