Our Backup Server has stopped working when we changed the Windows Login from Administrator to Backup Opeator.
It prompted errors such as No Access Rights.
I thought I read somewhere that Backup Operator accounts can be used in ArcServe - or am I wrong?
Please help.
Regards,
Alan.
I have performed DR on all the servers in the company.
THe backup is centralised on one server. My last task is to do a DR on the ArcServe 2000 server which is connected to a tape drive.
Can anyone give me any advice on how to do this?
Many Thanks.
Some people have suggested that I have install open files agent on the client machine. I have done this so it does not seem to be causing the problem.

I have backed up a Windows 2000 Workstation's C and D drive using ArcServe 2000. In D drive I have excluded 1 directory.
After the backup is finished I can see in the log file:
3 Directories/Files skipped
Skipping Registry Hive....Use System State
Backup Operation Incomplete
Anyone know why I...
I have a huge Notes Server and would like to install the Disaster Recovery Option for it. However I would like to exclude the mail subfolder.
The documentation says that a full backup must be performed so that ArcServe recognises the Server. Is there anyway around this?
I am waiting for a reply...
