Not quite correct Wipeout25. The whole idea of editing the inf file is to include the correct entries for the new systems IDE controller(s). Symantec's site explains this in good detail. Rick- rhands

W2K Service Pack 3
Have rolled SP3 out to several W2K Pro workstations without any problems.... BUT.. installed to our Active Directory PDC and after the re-boot, all DHPC and DNS ceased working..
