Internet explorer 6 freezes when I visit most pages!!!

Quick Norton Antivirus 2002 question...
Picked up the Nimbda Virus and got the same message. Told me that "the file C:\documents and settings\(user)\documents\new.eml" was infected. Checked for the directory and it doesn't exist. Searched for the files that Norton said were infected and they didn't exist anywhere else. Not...- netwurx
