once an agent is created as not shared you cant reverse it. you will have to rename it. the re create it, making sure you check the shared agent box.

Oops. I've just re read your post. the way notes works is that it stops searching on the first match. if you have 2 richards it will find the local one first. but if the surnames are different it should if you keep typing search the public address book. this is a bit of a pain with notes...

when you say your own address book, do you mean the one on your pc or the server. If it's on the server you have to type: set configuration names=names.nsf,2ndaddressbook.nsf If it's local it should always search that one first. hope that helps chris
