Personally I've found that if the machine is in this situation it is time to rebuild anyways. If there are files on it that you didn't back up before applying the service pack just do a parallel install of XP into a different directory, get them, then wipe everything out and rebuild.
Well apparently they "reproduced" this one

Didn't help me though, was not...
Never mind. Aswered my own question. You have to turn on Log Spooler Information Events to get info other than errors (Advanced tab of Server properties in Printers folder File menu).
Do you still see the old machines in Server Manager?
If so probably just need to remove them from the domain.
If not you might try adding them and then removing them.
Its probably an issue with the settings on that card for either Default Gateway and Mask. What are they?
Can you ping the machine that you have specified as the default gateway? Are the 10.1.77 and 10.1.32 machines on seperate subnets?
For stuff like you are doing I sometimes find it easier to record a macro while doing the operation (formatting etc.) manually in Excel, then just look at the code.
Well yes you should never have AV software scanning the Exchange system directories and I can see how that would make Items disappear permanently.
But from what has been said so far this is a different issue because the items are not really gone, can see them in the Folder item count and can...
That would be a curious one, AV makes emails invisible to client? I'd like to hear more about that. I don't even know what it could do to an email that would do that and would be curious to read more if you have a link.
Meanwhile (unless you have another level of protection) I might live with...
Actually sounds like a slightly different issue jstenger.
One thing I think you can be almost 100% certain of is that yours is a client side issue.
What version of Outlook are your users running?
This is the second time I've seen it posted that you can do this on the Advanced tab of TCP/IP properties and as far as I know it just ain't true. If it really is someone please let me know.
As far as I know there is no way to do this without an add on like those that have been mentioned.
I...
re-booted the BDC since this started?
If really no errors or warnings in BDC log and its been rebooted I'd look in Task Manager to see how much memory in use and whether any process is using a lot of CPU. Then Server manager to see connections, open files, attached machines etc.
Nothing about lost or refused connections? Nothing about errors talking to printers?
If you are using Veritas backup (especially if using the Open File Option) AKAKillroys post above sure sounds likely.
Other than that are you mixed 10/100? I used to have a few problems like this when I was...
There is probably nothing you can do without replacing the OS.
Not an expert on Small Business Server myself so maybe someone else knows whether you can do an upgrade or need to rebuild totally etc.
Do you get that error on every machine that tries to browse to the BDC?
If you only get it on the PDC do you get it when browsing to any other machine?
Any errors in the logs?
If you have it set to per server then it is almost definitely not a CAL issue that is stopping the connections.
The event you are seeing is probably just because you don't have License Manager set up correctly but that won't actually stop the connections. I use per server licensing and don't...
