Same thing in Inoming Connection with Admin or any other account I activate. Even if I create a new user at Dialup Connections. When I check the properties for the user the password has been changed to a 15 character password. But, in all other areas the passwords for these users remain as they...- dtony

For others that may experience this... Opening the Guest account solved access to Win2k Server on the lan. For dialup, i created a new user with no password. in Network & Dialup Connections I added the user. once again Win2k filled in a password. I changed it, exit and reboot. I took another...- dtony

i setup a dual boot Win2k-WinMe. I'm on a simple 5 station p-to-p LAN. When I try to access resorces on Win2k server I am prompted for a password. None of the passwords I have provided work.
