When you build the DTS package make sure you uncheck the box that tells SQL to enable itentity insert. That will leave the identity colum alone. The default values for any col are only used if the col does not allow null values.

I would have to agree with the others in that case and suggest making a boot disk and running the install from that. I know that RH 7 and 8 both offer that option.

Which authentication method are you using? If your using windows authentication you may be getting errors, check the logfiles for windows and PCA.

I would suggest making the linux partition ext3, ntfs is going to cause problems. Sometimes if you do not change any of the bootloader options the MBR will not be updated.
You should be able to run the installer for RH again to rebuild the MBR using GRUB as your bootloader, this will make accessing the non linux partitions easier.
After you have linux running and booting properly you will need to edit the bootloader menu for GRUB something like this to allow it...
You said that your developing in a Win2k environment, is your ISP also IIS or unix based? sometimes the translation of text files from DOS to unix is not so great and results in some extra hidden characters in the html.
If your intetion is to open the new window with the dimensions from your select statement try this:

RAS is only going to allow you to access the file system on the server. If this is sufficient for your server applications, then use it but if you need to interact with the server then Terminal Services would be the way to go!
