We are real new at anything to do with LPARS. We have a 520 that we are using to learn on. I purchased the CoD activation key and installed that . I was finally able to load the VIO software after deleting the partition that had AIX on it . I created a new partiton but the only way I can see the...
Does anyone have a valid link where I can download the Anyconnect profile editor ? I've wasted hrs finding dead links and running into stone walls
Thanks
Norm
Can both the Anyconnect and the "old" IPSec VPN clients be used / configured on the same appliance at the same time ?
If so do they need separate pools of addresses / new ACLs ?
Thanks
Norm
Perhaps try a different network switch or setting both ends of the connection (auto negotiate or manually set them to full duplex 1000mb or try 100mb for a test)

Look at proxy rewrite
This document supplements the mod_rewrite reference documentation. It describes how to use the RewriteRule's [P] flag to proxy content to another server. A number of recipes are provided that describe common scenarios...
Thanks for the confirmation of what I have been thinking ...I purchased another ASA as they should have a spare anyway . Now if it still drops out we'll need to push AT&T a little harder.
We don't have many options at that site as it is fed underground across a bi parking lot and Comcast...
I bought a new 5505 ver 8.2(5) old 5505 is 7.2(4) . I finally got the config pasted in but some things are a little out of order. Will it matter ? I think everything else looks OK

Does anyone know if I can just lay the config from the PIX onto the ASA and have everything work ? PIX is at version 8.0.4 which is the same as some of the earlier ASAs I believe
We also use the Cisco IPsec VPN software client extensively as well as an IPsec site to site VPN, will those...
Right now we have (3) PIX515E feeding our network(s) from 3 providers. We have 150 IPSec VPN clients connected at any one time. It looks like the Anyconnect can replace the IPSec client but will we have to purchase the correct number of SSL licenses to make the Anyconnect work ?
Thank
Norm
If the server is on your local LAN than just create an A record for the server name with the internal IP address and a cname or alias for www
server A internal IP address
www Alias(CNAME) server.ourdomain.com
That's what I did and it works for me
