BE 11d - Scheduling jumps to a week ahead

I've got 2 x backup to disk jobs scheduled for 10 and 11pm each night. For some reason the Friday job at 11pm seems to show next Friday's date in Job Monitor, rather than tonight's. All the other jobs run according to schedule and on time on date. Is there something wrong with this job or is...

    PIX - tracing packet

I have an external host that needs to connect to 2 mail servers using port 1677. I've setup the ACL for this and NAT'd the servers. The ACL hitcnt increments each time I try to connect, but the external host will not connect to the server that is not on the same LAN as the PIX. The PIX has a...

Troubleshooting ISDN dialer map on a Cisco 2500 Router

Basically with that command you are saying that when your outbound traffic on the first channel reaches approx 78%, bring up the second channel. It should then load balance across the two.

Troubleshooting ISDN dialer map on a Cisco 2500 Router

Presumably if it is set to a high value, then that is not what is causing the problem. I believe the ranges are 1=no load up to 255=fully loaded.

    wic-1ADSL card

It would appear not. The 1700/2600/3600/3700 series do, but not 1600.

Troubleshooting ISDN dialer map on a Cisco 2500 Router

Do you have a dialer load threshold configured ?? If so that may be bringing up the second line.

    Novell IPX and Cisco Routers

The format should be something like: traceroute ipx <ipx-network>.0000.0000.0000 !N means network unreachable yes.

    * ISDN divert in a disaster recovery situation *

I have a 1600 using static routes dialling up to central site via ISDN. If that central site goes down in a disaster situation is it possible to get the 1600 to use an alternative dialer map to another site. I have looked at FSRs but I think these rely on a routing protocol in order to work, and...

3640 router keeping incoming ISDN connections up

We have just upgraded a 3640 to IOS 12.2(2)T and noticed that all incoming connections to the PRI are staying up 24/7. When doing showing ISDN active, it states "Seconds Left" as unavailable. Nothing else has changed aside from the IOS upgrade. The majority of routers dialling in are...

    Class-Based Packet Marking

Does anyone have a definitive answer as to whether 1600/2500 series routers support Class-Based Packet Marking on a hardware level. If so , do they need an "S" set IOS to work. Feature Navigator (implies it's not supported), whereas there are conflicting views in the spaghetti of...

    QoS - CBWFQ and WRED

Having read through a mountain of QoS docs from the Cisco site , and hopefully understood most of it. Is it really the best route to configure through the CLI or is there an easier option via a GUI ?

    ISDN problems with 2516 routers

Yes the ip route does point to the PRI on the 3660. The 2 dialer maps are an error with my cutting and pasting, it must have overlapped in Hyperterminal ! I will try the ISDN debug and see what it throws up, thanks.

    ISDN problems with 2516 routers

Sure, here you go. Note this 2516 has 12.0(7) which is bug-ridden, but the other 3 we have causing the problem don't. version 12.0 service timestamps debug datetime service timestamps log datetime service password-encryption ! hostname xxxxxxxxx ! no logging console enable secret 5 xxxxx enable...

    ISDN problems with 2516 routers

We have a 3660 with PRI , with a number of hub sites with a mixture of 1600 and 2516's with BRI's. For some reason the 2516's all refuse to dial IN to HQ automatically, where all the 1600's do. Even if I dialup HQ from a 2516 manually and drop the HQ incoming connection, the 3660 will then dial...
