I have set a set a Database password on my database.
The problem is that I have also set the Startup Items to "not display the database window", and to "not allow full menus". I have a main menu form which is opened upon startup.
My problem is that when I hold down...
don't worry about it!
I've worked away without it!
I'm going to have two separate databases, with linking forms, so that way I can have one front end for administrators and one front end for users. I'ts actually easier for me this way, because that means that I can give different views in other...

Thanks Alex,
Its for a Form, that is based on a query.
I have a 1st Name and Surname field on the query, but on the form it looks rubbish, so I want to join them together so as it looks better on the form.
Would you still suggest the Update Query, or rather the Select Query ?
Cheers

It depends !
Are all the phone numbers going to have the same input mask ? ie. (000) 123456 ?
if so, you can use text and then have an "input mask" in the field e.g. (___) ___-____
I think that it is quicker and easier to enter data in that way!
Cheers
