Supressing alarms in the Meridian ...
Yes, you can suppress Alarms on Meridian. Look into LD117 and Alarm Filtering. You can as far as i know not differentiate d-channels. The filtering is for types or instances of messages.- hbrx

Telnet Access without using Switchview or Optivity
We use 4-port terminal servers from nbase-xyplex. Connecting the TTY-ports to the server, one on each site, and telneting in. We also manage all the telnet sessions using a console server.
