Solution: I needed to put an "H:" at the beginning of the auto-numbering formatting to designate that the numbering was for a heading. So it should look like this:
Heading 1: H:Section <n+>:\sn
Heading 2: H:<n>.<n+>:\sn
Heading 3: H:<n>.<n>.<n+>:\sn
I am writing an operations manual using outline numbering in the headings, and the problem is that that the auto-numbering from the numbered list style between the headings continue in the headings causing the headings to be misnumbered.
For example:

I created a table tag with 10% Black shading to use for notes throughout my document, but when I convert to PDF the text does not display in the note boxes.
The weird thing is half the time when i convert to PDF, the note text displays in some tables but not in others.

I am trying to create a macro that will delete text that is formatted with a certain Word Style. I created the following macro, which is supposed to replace text with the format style "RedText" with the format style "Normal". The actions work when I am recording the macro, but nothing happens...
I have a 5MB Word file that hangs when I attempt to "Save as PDF". The conversion process starts (scans hyperlinks, etc.), but then after a few minutes it just hangs.

Yes, the Page #, Sec #, Ln # etc. displays, but no text when I click in the field. When I right-click within the field and select Properties | Add Help Text..., on the Status Bar tab, the "Type your own:" radio button is selected and the text appears in the window, but not in the status bar.
I added Help text to form fields in a Word template using Add Help Text | Status Bar | Type your own, but the text does not appear in the Status Bar.
Are there settings that could be preventing this text from displaying?

I recently upgraded to Office 2003, and the PDF toolbar is missing on the toolbar dropdown.
Also, on a co-workers pc, who received the same upgrade, a Robopdf toolbar appears. Is this the same thing?
