Found our own problem, the Fax service was running automatically, I stopped this service and set it to manual, all works great now. -

We have a laptop, Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100 that when we try to replicate we are getting an error that says, COM3: Device or Unit Number already in use. We have checked that COM3 is the correct modem, it works fine through hyperterminal. Also before dialing, we went to File-Mobile-HangUP... -
Window XP Icons Missing - Unless I restart
The problem is definately the explore.exe not starting, I was able to have the user bring up the desktop by starting this process from Task Manager. Does anyone have a solution on how to make this start correctly. Thanks in Advance.- bherriot

I understand this suggestion, but the problem is that it only does this when turning on or loggin on the first time in the morning. If we do a restart on the computer then it comes up fine. I have seen this on more than one pc. Any other ideas???- bherriot

I have seen this a couple of times on different makes of PCs and Laptops. After logging in to Windows XP Pro, the wallpaper and menubar will startup, and the mouse cursor is working, but No Icons will appear on the desktip. After restarting sometimes more than once, the Icons on the desktop...- bherriot

Object Variable not set
Using Notes R5.08, I have a user that as soon as he enters his password, a box with Object variable not set pops up, he hits ok, and this pops up a couple more times, then a box pops up that says variant does not contain object, this happens with a total of about 20 boxes, then everything works...
