I am not sure what a you mean by IP scheme. The OS is win 2000. I am not perfectly sure but I think the lan uses static IP. We simply just got a hub and network cards and plugged everything in.

Hobbes, I got the NT drivers from Iomega. The zip drive works well if I allow the computer to boot up with it already plugged into the USB port. I also have a barcode scanner wand that works as well. If those devices worked under NT then why would the USB key not work? Maybe if you explain...

My workstation hangs if I install a USB software key. Also, If I disconnect my USB zip drive then I have to reboot if I reconnect it, in other words its not hot swappable. Any insight? Thanks
