We have an H80 with a 16 drive SSA enclosure set up as a single 583GB RAID_10 array hdisk. This will replace a current set of non-raid SSA's with a single VG and 34 LV/FS setup in it. Some of these FS are very small and some are rather large, 103GB. Looking for some input on whether to bust this...

You're correct the /dev/bpf0,1,2, and 3 files controll access. the permissions on them are cr--r--r-- and ownership is root:system. The user belongs to system and bin groups. Seems to me they should be able to run the command successfully.
