i am tasked to look into vlan to secured my network. however the vlan have some IP to the production server. this is still not secured.
anyone hv any good approach to have private secured vlan (need to connect to selective production server) for visitor?

Anyone using Mlink 5B (verion 5.05)? What is the different between 5B and 5C?
Genesys claimed that 5B have performance issue and recommend my site to upgrade to 5C. But 5C is EOL.

I am using xtalk software on my notebook. However, I realise that software does not support notebook internal modem. It only allow to interface with COM1. Hence I need to buy a external modem.
Even if it does allow to change com number, but it still does not work with internal notebook...
Our existing PABX rel 22.43, together with Mlink 5.05, does not support DTMF feature.
Why? Is it due to release version (if yes, which release support it) OR Nortel does not support it at all?

To put ISDN-2 on BRI card for Opt11C rel 22.43, do I use a NT (network terminator) box or use an ISDN-2 modem to interface with the telco provider ISDN-2 circuit (1 pair wire).

Program a TN with extension (example 58888). Disable that extension on the TN block (to be extra safe, do a loopback on that TN, just in case you enable the whole card and forget to put back to disable mode).

I am testing CLI on my dev pabx-Opt11C. I applied for ISDN-2 since it is for testing (ISDN-30 is over-kill).
Can rel 22.46 support ISDN-2? Apparently, with BRI and signalling card, it still cannot get the circuit up.
Any one have similiar exposure? Would appreciate advice.
