My company had done this in the past - E&M tie trunk cards in each system, Cisco routers on each end, 56K point-to-point circuits between. Unfortunately, this was before I was involved with the phone systems, and there was *no* documentation of configuration.

I need to restrict certain extensions from calling out after hours and all day Saturday and Sunday. Has anyone had to do something similar?

I've got another system that answers, but it disconnects when I try to enter the password. Does this one need a kick in the rear too?

I have tried to have them transfer me into the system with *10, but the modem doesn't pick up. Is there any way to reset the modem, without doing a power down on the PBX?
I was able to locate the original order, and it looks like it's a 3070. Does anyone still support these? Or if it breaks am I looking at a completely new system?
What are the steps to power down the system? I know that the transfer was tried from the receptionist (don't know what type of set) and from a Bis station.
This is a system that was installed in 1986, and I don't believe that it has ever had a software/firmware update. I'm trying to get in to find the software versions, see how many exts they have, and change some dialing restrictions. I call them, ask them to transfer *10 transfer - I get dead...
