Just set up the ftp to backup the 46xx phones i added the following lines to the 46xxsettings.txt SET RESTORESTAT 1 SET FTPUSERSTAT 1 SET FTPSRVR 172.16.202.235 SET FTPDIR /4600bakup and then rebooted the phones the problem is that the automatic update is still set to disable how do i get it...

no But i don't thing it would work if you had any delay you could loose or drop calls and we use the softconsole with two monitors so that whom ever is working the phones can do other task as well.

tried both of those and they will not cause a file down load a mute reset will but i have 600 phone to do that to and i dont want to walk around to all of them. there has to be some way to do it

How do you auto lable feature buttons for example the voice mail button says: ad17440 how do i make this show up as: voice mail with out haveing to go to each phone and changing the button lable. I thought you could do this whith the settings file in the tftp server.

Norton Corprate is the way to go if you have internet that is not dial up you can even update all viri list with out lifting a finger and the thinq was a snap to set up and you get the nifty symantec gold card (have no idea what it is for but it has my name on it)
