Network Card Problem with old Aptiva
It's also a 166 Pentium non MMX. I switched the two cards and now I'm getting a fatal "Msgrv32" error. This has happened twice after two installations of Win98SE. Could my hard drive be going on me? I ran Scandisk extensively with no errors. Anyone want a boat anchor? (laughs)- JMitch1

I tried setting the IRQ's manually through Windows 98SE; I have in no way tried it through the BIOS. The NIC didn't come with any disks. I have an old IBM Aptiva, 2168-A40 model number (yeah, very old). I just installed a Compaq 3121 10/100 fast ethernet nic and I'm trying to hook it up to my routed internet connection.
