After I rebooted, it started working (finally!). After I accessed the internet and ran Windows Update, IE crashed saying the same thing:
"IExplore has caused a general protection fault in MSOSS.DLL"...
It's also a 166 Pentium non MMX. I switched the two cards and now I'm getting a fatal "Msgrv32" error. This has happened twice after two installations of Win98SE. Could my hard drive be going on me? I ran Scandisk extensively with no errors. Anyone want a boat anchor? (laughs)
